Your Hints Mean NOTHING

I LOVE how idiotic this fanbase is about stupid shipping.
They just LOVE to try and shove their favorites down people's throats, with the basis that
"OMG!!! THEY WERE TOTALLY HINTED AT IN THE GAME SO THAT MEANS THEY OFFIICICIALL~!!"

NO you dummy.
Hints in games mean absolutely nothing.
You know why?
Because they are 'hints'!

Hints are ambiguous and purposefully multi-dimentional!
Anybody can take the same hint and get a different answer!
It is not based on facts only: it's based on your perception or your OPINION of the event.

And that is why it isn't accurate, nor valid!

You can't just go on OPINIONS for an argument.
If you ever tried writing an essay that only states your opinions but never gives support, you will FAIL.

DEBATES are never based only on the opinions! They are based on statistics and the fact of the matter.
You can appeal to pathos, ethos OR logos all you want: but if you can not give supporting details in the way of facts or examples, you can not win the argument.

So you can shut up about
"OMG!! IT"S HINTED AT SO SEGA INTENDS ITT!!"

No.
That's just your mind making something our of what isn't.
If you really want to support your opinions, you need to base them on the facts.

In this case, the only FACTS are that while SEGA isn't making any couples official in CANON, they DO give you information in the background.
With Interviews, their character biographies, and their other uses of the characters.
Because SEGA's word is the only thing that can make something official.

Rumors don't even count.
If SEGA doesn't talk about it, it hasn't happened yet, adn your argument is invalid if you try to use "Oh! but it's been so long and they be hintin at __ now"

But does the US Constitution's laws all of a sudden become invalid over time just becasue Congress hasn't commented on it for a while and some members are starting to get new ideas?
No.
Until they actually VOTE to amend the Constitution,and make it OFFICIAL that this Amendment is to be made, the Constitution is the same, and it's contents are followed by the citizens.

It's the same principle.

Fanon is FINE of course: if you like something, you like it!
But don't try pulling things off as canon if they really aren't.
